A chance encounter with a bottle of Rioja Gran Reserva piqued in Todd Spitzer an interest in wine that would eventually become a calling. Fascinated by the subject, Todd spent several years studying and continually learning, passing WSET levels I, II and III (with merit) and earning the title of Certified Sherry Wine Specialist, as well as becoming a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2019. Todd plans to begin a new Wine Scholar course in the fall, and keeps up-to-date on the industry and trends by creating thoughtful wine lists, hosting wine dinners, and holding staff trainings. In his spare time, Todd enjoys making memories with his beautiful family, cooking, running, landscaping and building things with salvaged wood.
